Inspirations
"With Aaliyah, I feel like her fashion sense was definitely influential. You could tell she was really smart with the way she worded her word play too. It was the way she made something so sophisticated sound like just another catchy r&b song from that time, yet it sounded so good."

"The Weeknd opened a door for my taste when I was like...9? 11? He gave me a little of what I was interested in but it wasn't much for me to listen to it 24/7. So, I still was scavenging for new artists around the time. I guess you can say the early versions of his music gave me part of the mentality I have today. Take that as you will."

"I loooove, love, love Amy Winehouse. Although I only love and honestly enjoy about 3 or 4 of her songs, her story pulled me toward her. If she was just any other signer I wouldn't have been so attached to her to this day. She was a legend. I feel like not a lot of people give her the recognition of being so good with her art without bringing up her battle with addiction which is stupid! She only died in 2011, and people act like her career ended in the 90's. It's not fair."

"I can't express to you how much I love Tyler, The Creator. There's this long story of how "Bastard" became my favorite album of all time around December of 2020 and I think it's magical to me. I never knew there was music out there like that. I'm still kind of sad I hadn't discovered it around the 2010s. Not even my family knows about my obsession for Tyler's music and why. His music deeply hits me. Every time.It was like the songs described my feelings and thought process so well. I'm not lying when I say he inspires me, nor do I say this just because I like his music, but I get so excited just to watch a performance from home. It makes me literally wanna get up and go work, because every time I think, 'Wow....I wanna be there' . Ask my friends, they know.""XXXTENTACION, the first ever artist I had became obsessed with, musically wise. I cried for so long after his death. Even though I didn't know him, words can't truly explain how much I related to him. I can't imagine how bad other's people lives have been to relate to him as well. That man went through it all, truly."
Why Should People Care About Kuhtona?
"I'm not saying this in a narcissistic way but I truly believe I'm different. When will people take away this obsession with materialistic things and consider loving music for what the songs mean? The storyline? It's like if you don't have a gold chain, you're trash. You don't disrespect women? Trash. You don't like the new hottest rapper out? Trash. I feel like I'm just stuck in this box of 2009-2017 where the present time just doesn't make me wanna come out. And I'll be honest I'm grateful for it....and I'm not slapping HipHop and RnB in the face but where is the versatility? Can you even tell me why your favorite rapper is the best? If it's the same reason all these other rappers are the "best" then you should question yourself. So many opinions and tea pages but no rightful explanations to speak. So I'm saying, please consider to expand your taste buds because music is going downhill."(2021)
